Other hair straighteners are known to be very effective but were also known to contain formaldehyde, which Health Canada restricts in cosmetics. A new generation of formaldehyde-free Brazilian hair straighteners was developed in response, and it is highly effective without it.

How Does Hair Straightening Work? |
A stylist applies the protein hair-straightening product to your hair and then uses the heat of a flat iron to seal it in. The process takes about 4 to 5 hours, depending on your hair's length. You shouldn't wash your hair for three or four days after getting the treatment. That's because the solution takes time to work. After you get a protein hair treatment, and after the don't-wash waiting period, you should use sodium-sulfate-free shampoo to help maintain the treatment. Ask for the shampoo, conditioner & mask.

If you usually style your hair straight, then Black Diamond hair straightening treatment could shorten your blowdry time. Humid and rainy days are where you feel the difference. Is it reversible?
The effects of the service will remain in the hair until it grows out.
